Hello and Happy 2015! My name is Meaghan Moraes and I'm thrilled to kick off this new year as a new hire at Responsive Inbound Marketing - the Senior Content Specialist! With a background in and passion for marketing copywriting, this new role is right up my alley and truly exciting for me to tackle.
I grew up in New Bedford, MA and then moved to Boston at age 18 to study Communication/Advertising at Boston University - an adventure that profoundly molded my character in the best of ways. After graduating, I continued to reside nearby the beloved arena and gained real world marketing experience. In 2012, I decided that it was time to fulfill a lifelong ambition of mine: move to New York City and work in advertising. I had a ball, learned a ton, and a year later, it was time to return to my roots and live in Massachusetts once again.
Today, I happily live near the ocean in lovely Scituate, MA with my boyfriend and 1-year-old English bulldog, and I'm a commuter! On my train ride into Charlestown, I enjoy stealthily singing and dancing to myself (typically to Beyonce or old Motown jams). I write poetry and comedic, anecdotal short stories in my free time, and I try to have at least one creative project in the works at all times (currently crafting up ad campaigns for my own jam company I'm developing!) I enjoy all things authentic, vibrant, and flavorful and I aim to exude these characteristics myself on a daily basis.
