It's finally here! After a short week last week, doesn't this week feel like it just dragged? That's the holiday season for ya! Such a combination of short weeks and long weeks. Anyways, enough of my rant, let's chat about what happened this week!prominent post-its

San Bernardino

As much as we want to keep these blogs lighthearted, I feel like we keep on having to mention another tragic event that happened in the world. As of today, there have been 353 mass shootings in 2015. Today, Saturday, is day 339. Let's do the math, there have been more mass shootings than days this year. Disgusting. Despicable. How does this stop? Is it terrorism? Angry workers? How can we make this stop? Our thoughts go out to all of those, whether they were covered by the media or not, that were killed or wounded.

Yahooooooo

It's been a tough last couple of years for Yahoo. They hired a new CEO that was supposed to do wonders, have fallen behind their neighbors Google and Facebook, and really hasn't had much user growth and revenue. Today was the last day of their board meeting if I could have only been a fly on the wall.

Love that dirty water!

So the 2016 Summer Olympics (keyword summer) is taking place in Rio, just in case you lived in another world and did not know that. During the Summer Olympics the athletes typically participate in a lot of water sports, and the water is dirty. “The levels of viruses are so high in these Brazilian waters that if we saw those levels here in the United States on beaches, officials would likely close those beaches". Hmm, that's not good.

Zucky is lucky..

to have so much money. I am sure you all know by now Mark Zuckerberg and his gorg wife just had a baby girl. I thought that when women have a baby, their hormones are the ones that go berzerk, not the males? I say that because Mark (we're friends so we're on a first-name basis here) is giving away a LARGE portion of his Facebook shares to charities that will advance human potential and advance human equality. I think that's pretty cool, don't you? Well, clearly not all of you.

Now get up out of bed if you are reading this on your phone or out of your home office and go spend time with your friends and family! That is what the weekend is for!
