My name is Patrick Marre and I am the newest marketing intern here at [Responsive Inbound Marketing](https://www.responsiveinboundmarketing.com/). I am originally from Portland, Oregon where I lived until I left for Seattle in 2009 to attend the University of Washington.  At UW, I received a B.A. in ![Patrick_Marre-430771-edited](http://www.responsiveinboundmarketing.com/hs-fs/hub/389011/file-1797586479-jpg/Patrick_Marre-430771-edited.jpg)Communications and graduated in June of 2013. Along with going to school, I was a four-year athlete at UW. I competed on the University of Washington Rowing team, placing second in Boston’s own [Head of the Charles Regatta](http://www.hocr.org/the-regatta/) and achieved other rowing-related accolades. So how did I end up in Boston? Well, I moved east almost immediately after college, partially for the sake of adventure, but mostly because I wanted to be in one of the nations largest start-up hubs. Entrepreneurship has always been a passion of mine. I love the idea of turning a concept into a tangible business that grows into the company you have always dreamed it to be. Sometimes, I do miss waking up to the smell of ponderosa pines and a fresh brewed cup of Starbucks coffee, but there is something about that dirty water that makes me love Boston and want to stay for awhile. On my days, off you can catch me rowing up and down the Charles River, reading a good non-fiction book (suggestions are welcome), or gallivanting around this beautiful city. I could not be more excited about working for Responsive Inbound Marketing. I look forward to helping our clients expand by using our inbound marketing techniques and resources.
